Three landscapes, close to home.

Arusha National Park covers 552 km² and lies only 20 km from Moshono Hillside, which makes it a favourite day-safari destination. Its beauty comes from three distinct areas:

West - the Jekukumia River, with the peak of Mount Meru rising on its rim.
South-east - the Ngurdoto Crater and its grassland.
North-east - colourful, diverse landscapes known for their wading birds.

What you'll see

The most common animals are buffalos, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, hippos, waterbucks and bushbucks - plus more than 400 bird species, including flamingos. Its closeness and variety make it the perfect first taste of the north.
